The maximum speed limit on the CP Napinka subdivision is 30 MPH. Cars over 268,000 pounds must not exceed 10 MPH between mile 49.0 and mile 76.1.

The subdivision operates under the Occupancy Control System (OCS) between the station sign at Killarney and the station name sign at Napinka. It is rule 105 (non-main track) territory between Killarney and end of track at mile 49.0.
