NB Southern Railway 3700

NB Southern 3700 is a high-hood GP9. It came from the QNS&L via Merrillees. NB Southern used its two GP9s 3700 and 3701 as extra power in the middle of consists.

3700 has been laid up since late 2004 with some engine shaft damage. Its last run was November 13, 2004. The engine from 3700 was put into NBSR 9803 in September 2006. It is very likely that the remains of 3700 will be scrapped in 2007.
