NB Southern Railway 3701

NB Southern 3701 is a high-hood GP9. It came from the QNS&L via Merrillees. NB Southern used its two GP9s 3700 and 3701 as extra power in the middle of consists. It's not unusual for them to be paired with a CN GP9 doing yard work in Saint John, or in between a few GP38s en route to Maine.

3701's short hood was "chopped" in the summer of 2006.
