NB Southern Railway 9803

This unit was built as GP35 #7465 for the Southern Pacific in May 1964. It was acquired as SP 6577 and rebuilt to GP38-3 specifications by CLN Industries.

NBSR 9803 threw a couple of pistons in late July 2006 and was laid up for a while. It received the engine from 3700 in late September 2006, and was not operational again until early May 2007.
