NB Southern Railway Business Train 1

NB Southern runs passenger trains several times a year for its employees, donating ticket proceeds to charity. In the past they have supported UNICEF and the Run for the Cure. They have also supported local events such as Saint John's West-End Days. The excursion train consists of one locomotive, three ex-VIA cars and caboose 422990. In 2005 they ran the following excursions:

• June 4 - West End Days from the Port of Saint John to Bayshore
• September 24 - Run for the Cure from Saint John to Welsford
• (there were several other runs in September)
• October 2 - UNICEF from McAdam to St. Stephen
