Rail Safety

For railfans, trains are fun and exciting to watch, but for most people they are ignored or cursed when they get in the way. The temptation is there to try to "beat" a train to a crossing so one doesn't have to wait for the train cars to pass. Too often this results in injury or death for the car driver and passengers.

Operation Lifesaver has been working for more than 30 years to educate the public about rail safety and reduce accidents and fatalities related to railways.
