CN 8869 and 8023 lead train 112 into Winnipeg. They were following train 106 and facing a "Clear to Stop" signal when it changed to "Clear", so they were accelerating when they passed me.

CN 8856 rolls into Winnipeg with a container train. My tripod is in my car which is in the shop, so I used my GorillaPod (very short tripod) and the camera was fairly near the tracks, giving this perspective. I wasn't anywhere near it!

I caught VIA 692 (formerly called the Hudson Bay) rolling into Winnipeg today. VIA 6455 and 6405 were the engines on the train. As you can hear on the video, it was very windy and the force of the train blasting past moved the tripod head. My tripod is a bit broken and doesn't hold its position very well any more. :P
