CN Miami Subdivision

The CN Miami subdivision runs from mile 0.0 to mile 2.1. This short segment of track remains to serve the Cargill grain elevator in Morris.

The original Miami subdivision was sold to the Southern Manitoba Railway (SMNR), who took over operation of the Miami and Hartney subdivisions and a portion of the CN Carman subdivision in August 1999. The SMNR interchanged with CN in Morris, Manitoba. The SMNR ceased operation in 2007. The SMNR operated using an ex-CN M-420 locomotive (photo).
