Herchmer Subdivision of the Hudson Bay Railway

The Hudson Bay Railway’s Herchmer subdivision goes from Gillam, Manitoba to its terminus at the town of Churchill, Manitoba.

This line was owned by CN before being purchased by OmniTRAX.

In late May 2017, numerous portions of this subdivision were washed out and the line was taken out of service. In late summer 2018, the Hudson Bay Railway was sold to a consortium called Arctic Gateway, who began repairs on the line in September 2018.
