NBEC 1834 was an MLW RS-18 purchased from Canadian Pacific in January 1998. It was built by MLW in May 1958 as CP 8776, and rebuilt in 1985 and renumbered to CP 1834. It still had its “Pac Man” CP Rail multimark.
1834 was sent to the Ottawa Central Railway in November 2003. It was scrapped in June 2009 in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
