SFEX 4202 was an MLW C-424 built for Canadian Pacific as CP 4213 in 1965 (serial number 84851) and it was classified as DRS-24b. It was rebuilt by CP as a control cab (traction motors and engine removed) as CP 1102.

It was rebuilt by IRSI in Moncton and by Canada Wide Locomotive Industries (CWLI) in Montreal. It was last shipped from Campbellton to Moncton on April 21, 2005 and returned to Campbellton for service in August 2005.
