This is the CN Bathurst Street car control manual, dated March 1970. Car control manuals provided detail on customer tracks for yardmasters, conductors, enginemen, yardmen and yard office staff.
At this time CN had a computerized system for tracking the location of rail cars, and this manual included instructions on how to record car movements and positions. This particular scan doesn’t include those instructions.
