This is a portion of the Sydney & Louisburg Railway timetable #45, effective April 28, 1930. These are scans taken from a photocopy, so they aren’t the best quality. I believe they were photocopied from an original copy in the provincial archives.

At first glance, the S&L had a profusion of trains scheduled, but a closer look will show several ran Saturdays only.

The timetable features the main line, along with three branches (Victoria, Number Six and Morien).
None of these lines were very long. The shortest was the Morien Branch (2 miles). In total they operated 56.7 miles of track, by my calculations.

“Firemen and brakemen are held equally responsible with conductors and drivers for observing track ahead of them”. Pay attention!
