Salem and Hillsborough Engine 1754

Engine 1754 was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) in 1959 as CN 3847. It was refurbished in 1975, derated to 1400 horsepower and given new trucks and renumbered to CN 1754.1754

It was donated to the C.R.H.A. (New Brunswick Division) after the terrible fire at the Salem & Hillsborough Railroad in September 1994.
