The Three Valley Gap site includes a heritage town, a railway roundhouse, and a historical hotel. It is well worth a stop!
The roundhouse contains a number of railway cars, including the former Governor General’s car that once carried Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau and sons across Canada. It was on board this car that the PM gave protestors the famous “Trudeau salute”. (story from train engineer)
