NBEC 1854 is an MLW RS-18 purchased from Canadian Pacific in April 1998. It was built by MLW in April 1958 as CP 8760, and rebuilt in 1989 and renumbered to CP 1854. It was sent to Montreal April 27, 2001 for repairs to its compressor drive coupling.
