Sudbury

The train station in downtown Sudbury was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1907. This station served the CPR for many years, hosting the Dominion, the Canadian, and other CPR passenger trains.

VIA Rail trains continued to use the station starting in the late 1970s. The Canadian stopped using this station when it was diverted to the CN route through northern Ontario in 1990, but the Sudbury-White River RDC service continues to use this station today.
