The Amqui train station serves VIA Rail passengers who travel on the “Ocean“. The station is located in the centre of town.

The station was built in 1904 by the Intercolonial Railway and is a federally-protected heritage station. Its architecture is fairly unusual for train stations in the area, and incorporates accomodation for the station agent and his family in the building.
