Canada’s Atlantic Fleet
I was in the Halifax area recently and had a chance to see some of Canada’s Atlantic Fleet (from afar). The Canadian navy is divided into two fleets, Atlantic and Pacific, to match the oceans they patrol. Perhaps we’ll have a third fleet soon, for the Arctic Ocean?
A Happy Place
More and more, I’m finding that I just like to “be”. Rushing from location to location is fun and exciting, but there’s something to be said for taking the time to experience a place.

The Rusty Relics Museum
Here’s a quick look at the Rusty Relics Museum, located in Carlyle, Saskatchewan. The museum has indoor and outdoor displays, and is centered around a 1909 Canadian Northern Railway station. During the summer it also houses the town’s tourist booth.
CN and CPKC Lockout
Both CN and CPKC have locked out their running trade workers. This is unprecedented in Canada.
