I’ve been wanting to read The Sleeping Car Porter for a while now. When I spotted a used copy of the book, I snatched it up and devoured over the next few days.
I really should say “railway” in Lichtenstein, since there is only one and it just passes through the country.
In my sparse railway video collection,I have a VHS tape entitled “Last Train into Fredericton”. This was produced by Digital World Productions, of Manawagonish Road, Saint John. Digital World was (is?) a store selling used musical instruments, CDs, and computer stuff. I have no idea why they made this video but I’m glad they did.

One thing I find about being a railfan is that I do a lot of housekeeping, rather than actual railfanning.

T.S. Eliot’s poem “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” was the first poem that really resonated with me.
We were forced to read and analyze poetry in English class for years. Generally when you’re made to read something, you won’t like it.
It isn’t your friend. It can’t be negotiated with. It’ll get you when you least expect it. It just wants to crush you.
