Every now and then I like to share which railway-related web sites I read on a regular basis. Please consider giving them a visit and bookmarking the ones you like! In alphabetical order…
| Site | Comments | Link |
|---|---|---|
| A Geologist Went on the Railway | A fascinating look at railways, often mining-related. Infrequent posting. | https://ageologistchasingtrains.blogspot.com/ |
| The Beachburg Sub | Michael shares his photos and observations of railways around Ottawa and beyond. | THE BEACHBURG SUB |
| Prince Street | Chris Mears shares his modeling projects, prototype photos, and philosophical discussions.. all interesting. | Prince Street |
| Rolly Martin Country | David Gagnon takes deep dives into railway related subjects, often with a lot of reference material. | https://rollymartincountry.blogspot.com/ |
| Trackside Treasure | A blog almost as old as my own! Eric Gagnon roams far and wide over many railway topics, model and full-size, often with tongue in cheek and alliterating all along. | Trackside Treasure |
| Trackside with Ryan Gaynor | Ryan shares his train chases and work projects. His photography is outstanding! | Trackside with Ryan Gaynor |
| White River Division | Both model and full size trains are featured by George Dutka and friends. The modeling is outstanding! | White River Division |
| The Winnipeg Model Railway Club | Mostly about model trains and modelers in Winnipeg, it’s a great way to stay on top of the scale model scene in the ‘Peg. | Winnipeg Model RR Club |
Unfortunately there are a few blogs that no longer publish. I really miss The Trackside Photographer but you can always browse its extensive catalog of railway stories and essays.
