This is the CN car control manual for the Cape Breton area of Nova Scotia, dated November 1967. Car control manuals provided detail on customer tracks for yardmasters, conductors, enginemen, yardmen and yard office staff.
This manual included track diagrams for such areas as:
- Zone “A” – Sydney lower yard, government wharf
- Zone “B” – Sydney upper yard, station
- Zone “C” – Sydney industrial spurs
- Zone “D” – Leitches Creek, Jefferson, Coxheath, Gibbon, Point Edward
- Zone “E” – North Sydney
- Zone “G” – Sydney Mines
- Zone “H” – Stations en route to Port Hastings
- Zone “J” – Port Hastings, Port Hawkesbury, Tupper spur
- Zone “K” – Auld Cove, Creignish, Dunmore, Port Hood, Marysville, Judique, other Inverness Subdivision
- Zone “J” – St. Peter’s Subdivision
