NBEC 1851 is an MLW RS-18 purchased from Canadian Pacific in April 1998. It was built by MLW in April 1957 as CP 8737, and rebuilt in 1989 and renumbered to CP 1851.
1851 was leased to the Ottawa Central Railway in November 2003 and returned at the end of February 2004. It went straight to IRSI in Moncton for new bearings.
